The Akos dental quick coupling (6-pin Midwest) is a key component connecting the dental unit's turbine hose to the rotary instrument. It has been designed to maximize the dentist's working time – allowing for instant and safe turbine exchange with just one hand movement, which drastically improves the fluidity of treatment procedures.

The quick coupling's design is based on precise O-rings that guarantee absolute sealing of the cooling system (no water or air leaks) and lossless power transmission for the optical system. The smooth rotary mechanism eliminates hose tension during operation.
